This end of summer season brings us to the beginning of our capoeira season at Mestre Dino, Capoeira  Malungos Copenhagen NV . We wood therefore like to invite you all to come and celebrate the opening of our capoeira season with Contra Mestra Pressinha saturday and sunda 24.-25. august 2024.

Back to Capoeira – Celebrating the new season for Capoeira Malungos Copenhagen, we have prepared this two-day workshop with a special guest. Contra Mestra Pressinha from Grupo Capoeira Brasil(GCB) – Mannheim. Contra Mestra is a known guest in our Malungos house, she has been joining us for the popular “Mulher na Roda” event in march.

Who is Contra Mestra Pressinha?

“Capoeira is a differentiator for those who practice it, it goes beyond the movements, the music. You start to see others and yourself in their essence,”

I’m Thaís – better known in the world of capoeira as Pressinha, I started capoeira in 1999 Jundiaí-Sao Paolo in the Grupo Capoeira Brasil where I am still today. I graduated as Contra Master in 2022.

In Brazil I worked for many years with capoeira shows in circuses n Sao Paolo. Teach classes in Brazil for children and teenagers, at private and social projects.

Currently working exclusively with capoeira for 12 years in Germany with different groups from 3 to 11 years old, teenagers/adults and also special groups for those over 60 years old.
